Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pathologist' Assistant to join our team. As a Pathologist Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting pathologists with various tasks related to specimen collection, processing, and analysis. This position will be based in a hospital or research laboratory setting.

Duties:
- Collect and process specimens for analysis, ensuring proper labeling and documentation
- Prepare tissue samples for examination by pathologists
- Perform autopsies under the supervision of a pathologist
- Assist with the dissection and examination of surgical specimens
- Maintain accurate records of all procedures and findings
- Utilize medical terminology and knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately interpret test results
- Perform phlebotomy procedures as needed
- Provide patient care and support during procedures

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field Pathologist Assistant
- Certification as a Pathologist Assistant (PA) or eligibility to obtain certification
- Experience working in a laboratory or healthcare setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Proficient in specimen collection and processing techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Note: All positions at our organization are paid, including internships.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $44.22 - $53.26 per hour
